New To Contact lenses

How it works 

At your first appointment we will assess your suitability for lenses and explain your options. We will decide with you which type of lenses to choose and teach you how to put your lenses in and remove them safely. We'll also need to check the fitting of the lens after you've been wearing them, and we might need further appointments  New contact lens patients will need at least two appointments with the optometrist, and it may take several follow-up appointments to make sure that we've got the best and most comfortable lenses for your 
 

We will explain clearly tell you how much it will cost.

 

We fit the following type of lenses:

  • Soft contact lenses

    • daily, weekly, 2 weekly, monthly, 3 and 6 monthly disposable

    • lenses for astigmatism

    • bifocal and multifocal lenses

    • bespoke lenses for high prescriptions and high astigmatism

    • lenses for complex medical needs (e.g. keratoconus)

    • lenses for myopia control

    • coloured lenses for enhanced appearance
       

  • Gas permeable lenses
    • regular lenses and lenses for astigmatism

    • bifocal and multifocal lenses

    • lenses for those who have had laser eye surgery

    • bespoke lenses for high prescriptions and high astigmatism

    • Orthokeratology lenses (overnight lens that result in good sight all day without lenses at all!)

    • lenses for myopia control 

    • special lenses for medical eye conditions and unusual shape eyes
